What is the Giant Loop Ride?

Adventure is calling, and Giant Loop is answering with our 4-day moto rally set in the rugged, untamed beauty of Eastern Oregon! This isn’t just another ride—it’s an unforgettable experience and a chance to explore some of the most remote, breathtaking terrain in the country.

Our ride welcomes any off-road bike with a license plate. We offer routes for both novice and advanced riders, and everything in between. The routes are long and scenic, featuring a mix of two-track, gravel roads, dry lake beds, and sandy sections. Designed with all bike sizes in mind, each route offers a thrilling adventure and plenty of fun for everyone.

What's waiting for you

Basecamp is set at Crane Hot Springs, where you’ll enjoy the perfect mix of adventure rides and well-earned relaxation. Ride all day through stunning desert landscapes, high mountain passes, and endless backcountry tracks, then soak away the dust in the soothing 101-degree hot springs, taking in the stunning panoramic sunsets.

Epic Riding: GPX-tracked routes, get it done in 50 miles, or stretch it out as far as your fuel range allows, all through some of the most remote parts of the lower 48.

Camp Amenities: Hot showers, running water, and everything you need to clean up after a day on the trails.

Bike Demos: Test ride the latest adventure/dual sport bikes from industry leading OEM's, including Harley, Suzuki, and Royal Enfield. More to come!

Food, Drinks & Good Times: Delicious meals, free drinks, live music, presentations, rider clinics, and most important, our rider community.

The Riding

We’re constantly exploring, uncovering, and mapping new awe-inspiring trails and breathtaking vistas, curating an unforgettable ride experience for those who seek the unknown. With routes suited for novice, intermediate, and advanced riders, we've got routes perfect for you!

GPS Tracks
We package scouted routes into a GPX file, unlocking an adventure that will take you deep into the heart of the wild. Follow tracks that wind through dusty backroads, rocky ridgelines, and up into the mountains. Cross creeks, carve through lush green valleys, and navigate the high desert landscapes that make this region legendary.

Terrain
From the snowcapped peaks of the Steens, to the endless dry lakebed expanse of the Alvord Desert, the ride promises pure, unfiltered adventure. This is more than just routes—it’s a journey few will ever know, calling to those who crave exploration. Are you ready to answer??

The Camping

Dry camping at Crane Hot Springs is included with your registration. We highly encourage moto camping and prioritize the best campsite locations for those arriving by motorcycle.

If you prefer to bring a camper, RV, or toy hauler, you are welcome to do so for an additional fee. A limited number of upgraded accommodation options are also available, including:

• RV hookups

• Teepees
• Suites

Facilities on-site include running water, bathrooms, and showers for your convenience
